Sandy is Vice President of Sales and Customer Care at Besse
Medical, an AmerisourceBergen company. Besse Medical is focused on
the distribution of pharmaceuticals and related products to
community primary care and specialty (outside oncology) physician
practices and clinics and surgery centers throughout the United
Sandy started her career at Besse Medical in 2002, when parent
company Bergen Brunswig merged with Amerisource. She was
instrumental in integrating the Health Services Plus business into
Besse Medical and for structuring the customer experience to drive
customer loyalty. She also created the inside sales team; today
they have grown into our Market Specialists. She served as Manager
and Director of Sales and Customer Care before being promoted to
Vice President of Sales and Customer Care in 2006. Sandy is
responsible for customer care, inside sales, and quality assurance.
She provides support to our activities team and business
development efforts. She is a member of the senior management lead
team at Besse Medical and provides leadership to the sales and
customer care management team.
Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, Sandy had her own business
focused on helping small businesses develop their customer service
platform and leadership potential. She worked with companies in
tele-communications, building and construction materials,
healthcare and retail.
Sandy is skilled in performance measurement, call-center
management, and employee empowerment. Her goal of continuous
improvement is focused on employee and customer retention. Her
expertise in change leadership, performance management, call center
leadership, and total quality management give her the skills and
qualifications to have positive outcomes in any organization.
