George Rafferty serves as senior vice president, strategic accounts, for AmerisourceBergen where he leads the sales and business development efforts for this segment. George's commitment to creating a positive customer experience is reflected in his pursuit of discovering innovative ways to drive stronger, mutually beneficial partnerships for AmerisourceBergen and its customers. George served as group vice president of retail sales for AmerisourceBergen beginning in early 2011 and shortly after assumed his current role. Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen, he spent two years as vice president of sales for ASD Healthcare, a business unit of AmerisourceBergen. In addition, George spent more than ten years in senior leadership roles at NMCR Analytics and HealthAnswers Education. George's foundation as a leader in the healthcare industry began early in his career with the Ortho-McNeil division of Johnson & Johnson as he established himself in various sales, sales management, marketing and training roles. George Rafferty received a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Scranton.
